Tying the Knot Boho Style In Prague
12:31 pm
I have finally settled into our new apartment in Prague and feel like I can finally get stuck into my blog, which I have been dying to do since arriving. My boyfriend and I landed in this beautiful city on the 13th August and as you can imagine it has been non stop since then. I'm so excited to share my journey with you and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Saturday 5th September 2015 we attended such a beautiful wedding which was just incredible. Everything was just perfect and my family came over from the UK as the groom is one of my dads longest and closest friends.
We arrived at the venue and it was just breathtaking. The waitress's and waiter's greeted us with drinks on arrival, offering us, gin and tonic, red wine, white wine, cocktails and beer. These were served in cute personalised paper cups with paper straws. As I walked through the gorgeous garden, sipping my refreshing gin and tonic, I was amazed by all the flowers and the detail that had gone into every tiny bit of the garden/venue. It was beautiful.
They had the wedding ceremony on these amazing hay bales with mishmash blankets on them which was such a lovely and different idea.

The flowers were incredible and they even had pumpkins which is fitting for the time I am posting this.
This is the dress and floral crown that I wore which made me feel elegant and it was comfortable (bonus). It was a bit risky as I ordered this dress from ASOS the week before the wedding and I had it delivered to my parents house in the UK because I didn't want to pay the extra delivery charge to the Czech Republic and thought that my parents could bring it over when they come (the day before the wedding) .... I don't actually know what I was thinking as I hate not knowing what I am going to wear to such a big occasion. Needless to say I tried it on, on the morning of the wedding and I fell in love with it. It felt amazing and I really liked the colours and the floral crown just added that extra boho style to the outfit. The only thing I would have done if I had more time was to turn it up a little bit at the ends as it was slightly too long. But apart from that it was a great outfit considering I tried it on the morning of the wedding. <3
We danced all night long to the most amazing live bands until my feet hurt. It was the best day ever and it was spent with my most favourite people. It couldn't have been any more perfect. Congratulations to the newly weds!!
