My nails have always been pretty strong and naturally long and I have always enjoyed painting them and trying new things. That's why I decided to enrol on a nail qualification with Gelish Harmony in 2013 and I haven't looked back since. It's a great feeling not having to redo my nails after just a couple of days. No chipping or peeling with Gelish..... hallelujah!! Gel Polish lasts 2 to 3 weeks, it protects your nails and makes them stronger and also is dry instantly after curing them in the LED Lamp. 

I do my own Gelish manicures and pedicures from home as well as a few friends. 

Here is my step by step guide:- 

Step 1: 

Sanitise your hands and nails. 

Step 2: 

Cut and file nails to your favourite shape and length. 

Step 3: 

Push your cuticles back with your cuticle pusher. 

Step 4: 

Lightly buff each nail with a buffer to remove the shine from the nail. 

Step 5: 

Grab a lint free wipe and pour a little bit of the Gelish Cleanser on to it and wipe over each nail to cleanser the nail. 

Step 6: 

Apply Gelish PH Bond onto the nail plate. 

Step 7:

Apply the a thin layer of the Gelish Foundation Gel to each nail. 

Step 8: 

Place hand in the Gelish LED Lamp for 5 seconds or UV light for 1 minute.

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had an amazing New Years Eve and celebrated just the way you wanted, with the people you love. I had a wonderful time last night with lovely friends in the beautiful city of Prague. Firstly we went to my friends apartment for a couple of drinks before heading into the Old Town Square where we watched a brilliant firework display. The atmosphere was incredible and to top it off it was snowing. It was perfect. 

I wore a velvet black and gold glitter dress from Topshop which is an old faithful that I love wearing around Christmas and New Year time. Glitter and sequins are a must around this time of year and it makes you feel really glamorous. <3 

Have you set yourself any New Years Resolutions? 

I have only set myself one goal this year as I feel this is a good start and when I feel like I am doing that goal well I will set myself a new goal. I am going to put more effort into my blog and post about the things that inspire me.  Let me know what new year resolutions you have come up with as I would love to know. I have recently been browsing the clothes in H&M, (online and in-store) we have quite a  few stores in Prague, which is great as I really like H&M because I find it's more affordable than some of the other high street shops and they have some gorgeous clothing. I am obsessed with floppy hats and have been for a couple of years now, I do own quite a few but unfortunately they are back in the UK because I couldn't bring all my clothes and accessories with me. Therefore I need to go shopping!!! Yay!! Every cloud has a silver lining and all that... and any excuse to go shopping!

Fringe bags are one of my favourite pieces at the moment. For some reason I am always drawn to them when out shopping, I think they can make a simple outfit really stand out which is why I love them so much.

I am loving plain, simple, classic styles for Autumn/Winter this year with a statement necklace to give it that something extra. 

We arrived at the venue and it was just breathtaking. The waitress's and waiter's greeted us with drinks on arrival, offering us, gin and tonic, red wine, white wine, cocktails and beer. These were served in cute personalised paper cups with paper straws.  As I walked through the gorgeous garden, sipping my refreshing gin and tonic, I was amazed by all the flowers and the detail that had gone into every tiny bit of the garden/venue. It was beautiful.
 They had the wedding ceremony on these amazing hay bales with mishmash blankets on them which was such a lovely and different idea.
